If it exceeds 80°F, it hardens too quickly (DIY kits don't harden as quickly, but you need to check the drain more often because the paint doesn't stop moving toward the drain for as long). After it stops, add 15 minutes and check the drain; nothing goes this way. You can remove the tape. Maintain your bathroom temperature between 70°F and 75°F for 24 hours.
