Worth It

If you're willing to put in the time to prep you'll get an incredible result. It's expensive to replace the basin and this allowed me to get a "brand new" shower for $100 and 4 hours of my time. The trade off was worth it to me. There were cracks in the basin and someone had tried to patch it with rubberized spray paint. I scraped everything off with sandpaper before following the prep directions. Watch the video and read the instructions. Set a timer for some steps so you understand how much time you have to work: after 2-3 hours everything starts to harden. Pro tip: have rubbing alcohol, q-tips and a plastic spoon ready. When mixing both parts, set a timer for 7 minutes and stir with a paint stick, scraping the side and bottom. I used a plastic spoon to scrape the material that pooled by the drain into a cup - a game changer. Use the heat gun to smooth out bubbles once it's setting, moving quickly so it doesn't melt. If a section doesn't harden properly, support told me to scrape it out, sand with 80 grit, and apply a new coat after 24-36 hours. It came out great.

**Good product** Easy to use if you follow directions. Have everything ready to go before you mix.

**Looks Great!** Like any paint job, it’s easy to make a mess, so make sure you cover your floors you don’t want to get the glaze on. Have lots of rubber/latex gloves available to use. I used about six pairs... The process is very easy, but time consuming... Mixing the glaze, pouring on the glaze and spreading the glaze is simple.

**Lives up to expectations** Great product! My bathroom facelift remodel hinged on the success of this product working and it lived up to expectation. The tutorial videos are very helpful and mirrors the instructions included. Used on an old fiberglass shower pan. The hardest work is the cleaning prior to installation... To mask the surrounding tile I went with two rows of painter's tape.

**Don’t be afraid to go for it!** Okay so I was nervous about trying this product. But I read all the reviews I could find and watched numerous videos... My experience and advice: 1) PREP, PREP, PREP... 7) The heat gun is a life saver... 9) Don’t freak out in the beginning. This stuff is thick... My sink literally looks brand new!

**Results are great.** I re-painted my shower floor that has a prior acrylic painted surface that has started to peel and come up... I was nervous about making sure I followed the directions. Given this was my first time to attempt this type of project the finish looks really great... The product was overall a lot easier to use than I expected.

**Fantastic and low cost way to make a shower basin look like new** I have done a variety of home improvements over many years, and I have to say that this one turned out among the finest. It looks exactly as if a new, manufactured shower basin was installed, at a fraction of the price. It feels very nice on the feet, too... And get a pumice stone to help with the cleaning... Be sure to continuously remove the excess enamel liquid that gathers at the taped-up drain

**Great product, better than I thought** I needed to refinish my shower pan because the old reglaze was chipping off... I followed the demo video and YouTube videos. Reglazing was relatively simple. I recommend to follow the instructions regarding cleaning and sanding... I have only been using the shower for about a month, but there are no chips and everything looks great.

Not As Easy As Advertised

First off, I'm an avid DIY'er, so with all the reviews saying how easy it was to use Armoglaze, I went for it for my 3 x 3 shower pan. Well, it's not that easy! It is definitely messy, and be prepared to have sticky white stuff everywhere. Thank goodness my husband was available to clean it off of areas that it inadvertently got on before it dried so I could focus on my window of opportunity before it got too thick to work with. There's also a lot of conflicting information between the application video, instructions, and troubleshooting videos: the training video says 72-78 degrees, the website says 70-75, and the instructions say 68-77. I cooled the area to 76 for 48 hours and did the work at 74. I stirred over 10 minutes but it was still thick, and it never drained to the drain like the instructions said. Ultimately I was able to smear it around the sides and base. When I removed the tape the curb material continued to drain down, getting on my grout and tile. The job is done, and there is at least a coating on the pan, but I give it 3 stars for the difficulty and conflicting information. Now we'll see how long it lasts.

**Great results, but sets a little too slow** Great product, but definitely a bit of a learning curve to using... It seemed to take too long to set and was a little thin on the vertical/sides of my shower. If I were to do this again... I would lightly spraypaint the vertical parts of shower base white

**This stuff is awesome** Made my shower pan look brand new. Really nice product. Application was straight forward but took a little more time than expected. I recommend this product.

**So far so good** The result is just as expected. I can't give it five stars because it's not as easy as the instructional video shows. It's very messy. Make sure you tape and cover everything well. How long will it last is unknown for now. One quick tip: Get yourself a big disposable spool to use to pour the liquid.

**No Customer Service** Overall it definitely improved the appearance of the tub. The problem I had was application on a large oval corner tub with limited arm reach... In the end, since I wanted gray I added black enamel until I got the desired shade. Be aware that this requires additional mixing

**Good for polishing floors** I used this for my flooring. So far, the polish is good. It could be applied using a brush for better precsion. Not alot of smell. Time will tell if it sticks well to stone floors.

**The prep is by far the hardest part.** Once you complete all of the prep work and cleaning, pouring the Armoglaze is really not hard at all. The worst part is that any tiny particle that lands in the glaze before it hardens can definitely been seen when the light is just right... So much more cost effective than having a company come in and refinish or replace the tub base.
